Cooperative attitude and willing to work as part of a team.Customer service skills and friendly demeanor.Logistics industry experience preferred.Strong computer skills and quick study on new software.High School Diploma – some post-high school preferred.Provide daily status updates to customers and team members.Coordinate with dispatchers, terminal personnel and customers on scheduling activities in the allowed free days at the terminals.Identify OG loads and determine weather Permits, Special Equipment, or Pilot cars would be needed and coordinate appropriately.Identify and process hazardous loads, assuring that all appropriate documents needed to conduct the move is given to dispatch.Troubleshoot problems at terminals and communicate with customer to ensure timely extraction of units.Trace and Track containers on terminal websites to insure extraction prior to last free day.Determines weights and measurements in order to identify proper equipment needed to transport freight legally.Scan all pertinent documents into TMS system indexing to appropriate entry.Perform data entry or system upload into our transportation management system. ![]() Receive and validate that all necessary information regarding container Delivery Orders have been provided by customer.We focus on insuring specific levels of service to all clients being served. ![]() The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for the daily management of ocean import customer service activities focusing on container availability status at the terminals, scheduling, and coordinating deliveries to local warehouses. This is a key entry level position in our Carson office.
